This is a fuse holder block for a 200 amp fuse that I bought from Wilde Evolutions (
www.evparts.com) for my golf cart project. I modeled the Fuse, Studs and the fuse holder in ProE, developed a toolpath for my CNC mill and machined 2 prototypes in less than 4 hours.
Here are a couple of images of a finished part with a fuse installed and one crimp wire end.
The Following holder was designed to hold the L50S100 fuse that is available through
C&H Surplus (
http://www.aaaim.com/cgi-local/shop991/shop.pl/SID=208881642064/page=MISC.htm#MI9711)The cover will be machined from 1/4" clear Lexan and will be mounted with Stainless button head screws. The base will be machined from black Delrin and will measure 5.8" in length, 1.75" wide and the overall height with the cover will be 1.75".
