Solid model of fixture to hold 2 parts. First op on
part on left side of fixture is then moved to right side of fixture. A un
modified part is then loaded into the left side and program allowed to
cycle which produces a finished part in the right fixture position.

|
I originally 3d printed the fixture in the FDM machine
but was not happy with the accuracy of fixture so I machined one from 6061
par stock. Notice the sharp corner in the upper left corner of the fixture
and the rounded corners. The sharp corner denotes the fixture “ZERO”
location. The generous radii make it pretty obvious should you insert the
fixture into the vise backwards!
